Playford-to-the-Present 2001 –
Our First Ball!

Here are photos from our Playford-to-the-Present 2001 ball. This was our very first ball! At the time, it was called the First Los Angeles Playford Ball and it had the theme St. Michael’s Madness (our first six balls all had a theme). The ball took place on Saturday, September 29, 2001, at the South Bay Masonic Center in El Segundo, California. Our dance leader was James Hutson, and Frank Hoppe, Ken Shaw, and Jeffrey Spero provided the live music.
