Dances happen every Second and Fourth Sundays, 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., at Lindberg Park Stone House (5041 Rhoda Way, on the corner of Rhoda Way and Ocean Drive) in Culver City.
Join us for a special English country dance party on Monday, July 3, 2017, with guest callerBob Green of St. Louis, and live music from Oklahoma’s Ladies at Play: Shanda McDonald, fiddle and accordion; Kathy Dagg, guitar, mandolin, and banjo; and Miranda Arana, flute, whistle, and percussion; along with Martha Edwards on fiddle.
Dancing is from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm; doors open at 7. Adults $15, youth 18 and under $7; $1 off for CDSS Members and Culver City Residents.
Please Note: This is an informal Dance Party for dancers familiar with the basic figures and elements of English Country Dance. There will be minimal teaching, but all dances will be walked through and prompted. The set list will not be published in advance.
